Four top-ten teams lost on Saturday along with another three teams in the teens, throwing a wrench into the rankings across the country. In the AP Poll, #2 Georgia dropped to 8th after losing on the road at #13 LSU, who is up to number five. West Virginia fell seven spots after losing at Iowa State, and Washington plummeted from 8th to 15th after Oregon beat them. Penn State’s home upset to Michigan State sent the Nittany Lions crashing 10 spots, while Wisconsin’s ugly showing in Ann Arbor dropped them into the 20s.It was just one of those Saturdays, and although this week’s slate of games has few truly marquee matchups, last week showed that anything can happen. Starr, Hutson, Lombardi Womens Brett Favre Jersey , and Lambeau for the Green Bay Packers. Halas, Ditka, and Butkus for the Chicago Bears. Except now, the Packers have a Butkus of their own. Green Bay has hired Luke Butkus, the nephew of Hall of Famer Dick Butkus, to be their assistant offensive line coach. The team announced the hire in a press release on Thursday morning.The younger Butkus played center at the University of Illinois until 2001 and making two all-conference teams. He has spent the past three years as the Illini’s offensive line coach under Lovie Smith, and he worked for Smith in the Bears organization from 2007 to 2010 as well. Butkus has one direct connection with the Packers’ current offensive coaching staff, however, as he worked with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ staff in 2015.Green Bay now has two former all-Big Ten players coaching the offensive line, with Butkus joining former Michigan Wolverines tackle Adam Stenavich Davon House Jersey White , who was recently named offensive line coach.The Packers also announced the hire of another assistant for their special teams, bringing Rayna Stewart on board as a special teams quality control coach. Last season, Stewart held the same position at Vanderbilt under new Packers coordinator Shawn Mennenga, and he will be making the move from Nashville to Green Bay along with his boss.
