He spent the entire 2017 season on the practice squad and remained with the team through training camp this summer, but was released at final cuts. Yancey was one of the team’s leaders in snaps by wide receivers in the 2018 preseason, but he caught just three of his nine pass targets for 11 yards.Listed at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, Yancey was a big-play receiver for the Boilermakers, particularly in his senior season.
