Punter Jon Ryan will be on the Seattle Seahawks side of the field when they take on the Denver Broncos in the National Football League championship this weekend. Regina Mayor Michael Fougere and members of Ryans family raised the flag in the icy cold this morning. Fougere said its important to support Ryan in the biggest game of his life. "I still havent wrapped my head around the fact that (the Seahawks) are going to be there," said Steve Ryan. "Its going to be incredible." He said his brother was well aware of the flag-raising and good wishes being sent his way. "Through social media, phone calls, texts, hes just felt overwhelmed with the support (hes felt from Saskatchewan)." The family is to leave for the Super Bowl on Thursday. Weather is expected to remain a factor through the rest of the tournament, with temperatures expected to soar. Montgomerie said it will amount to a physical examination. "Its going to be grueling over the next three days," he said. "Concentration levels will be difficult to maintain for everybody out there, not just myself. I look forward to the challenge of trying to compete against the rest of the field, the golf course, which is superb, and also the weather conditions, which are very foreign to myself and most competitors, to be honest. We dont usually play in 100 degrees. Its going to be interesting over the next three days."
