of the Vikings and Detroit Lions Minnesota Vikings Jerseys Stitched , and this is a pretty fun one to look back on since the Vikings have mostly dominated this series. This will be the 115th meeting between Detroit and Minnesota, since they’re a division rival, and if you’d like to peruse the full history, check out the head to head page at Pro Football Reference.Total Games Between the Lions and Vikings: 114All-Time Record: Vikings, 73-39-2Total Vikings Points Scored, Head-to-Head: 2,456 (21.5 points/game)Total Lions Points Scored, Head-to-Head: 2,108 (18.5 points/game)Longest Vikings Winning Streak vs. Lions: 13 (6 October 1968 - 22 Sept 1974)Longest Lions Winning Streak vs. Vikings: 5 (19 November 1961 - 27 October 1963)Most Recent Vikings Victory in Detroit: 23 November 2017 (Final score 30-23)Most Recent Lions Victory in Detroit: 24 November 2016 (Final score 16-13)Biggest Vikings Victory in Detroit: 24 points, 24 September 1972 (Final score 34-10)Biggest Lions Victory in Detroit: 38 points, 12 Dec 1981 (Final score 45-7)Current Win Streak: Vikings, 2 gamesThe Vikes have mostly dominated this series, other than the first expansion years of the Vikings in the early 1960’s. That’s because the Vikings have been a mostly decent to good team, and the Lions haven’t been. Even in some of the more down periods for the Vikes, they’ve still managed to mostly take care of business against Detroit. Not only has Minnesota had that 13 game winning streak during the heyday of the Purple People Eaters Marcus Epps Jersey nfl draft , but from 2002-2010, Minnesota won a rather remarkable 16 of 17 games.Since the Lions drafted Matthew Stafford, though, Minnesota has only gone 10-9 against Detroit, and they’ve become a much tougher opponent to beat.In the Mike Zimmer era, the Vikes are 6-3 against Chicago, 5-4-1 against Green Bay, but only 4-5 against the Lions. Stafford went 2-0 in his first two starts at US Bank Stadium, too, until Minnesota won earlier this year 24-9.There have been some memorable moments on the field in Detroit, too. The Vikings first Thanksgiving Day game was against Detroit in 1969, and it was a classic old school NFC Central game, played in the mud and snow. The highlight of the game was Jim Marshall recovering a fumble and lateraling it to Alan Page, who scored from 15 yards out en route to a 24-0 victory (play is at about the 22:40 mark...but watch this whole show if you haven’t seen it):More recently, there was a big Thanksgiving Day win last year Youth Marcus Epps Jersey , and Adrian Peterson taking his first carry of the season 75 yards for a touchdown in 2015.With a wildcard spot on the line for the Vikings, a rejuvenated offense, and a Lions team that is hobbled and struggling under first year coach Matt ‘Sit Up Straight’ Patricia, the recipe is there for another win for Minnesota. Here’s to another memorable moment on Sunday. What does Mark have in store for us this time?"https://thedraftnetwork.com/2019/01/31/2019-nfl-draft-player-profile-liljordan-humphrey/https://247sports.com/Article/LilJordan-Humphrey-NFL-Draft-grade-feedback-127157371/134: R4P32 LB TERRILL HANKS NEW MEXICO STATEJesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sportshttps://steelersdepot.com/2019/01/...rrill-hanks/141: R5P2 OT KALEB MCGARY WASHINGTONhttps://thedraftnetwork.com/20...aleb-mcgary/148: R5P9 TE JACE STERNBERGER TEXAS A&MPhoto by Bob Levey/Getty Imageshttps://mattwaldmanrsp.com/2019/01...er-texas-am/192: R6P17 QB RYAN FINLEY NC STATEPhoto by Grant Halverson/Getty Imageshttps://www.cover1.net/2019-nfl-draft-ryan-finley/210: R6P35 RB BRYCE LOVE STANFORDPhoto by Jason O. I kind of like it though. But this is never going to happen. I doubt anyone gets traded and I expect one or two releases and a couple of restructures. I just wanted to do at least one fairly crazy plan.I like the offensive line. Not sure if it fits the zone blocking system or not but it should block out the sun. I would expect that some of the interior defenders that had been wreaking havoc will not have as easy a time. If Elflein does not pan out then maybe his ex college teammate could slide into center. If Fluker flames out then Jordan could play guard too.I think the defensive line would be set up for the future too with Oliver and Lawrence. The linebackers should be solid with Wright taking over for Barr. The cornerbacks might be too thin for some worry warts but as long as Hughes comes back they will be 4 deep. There is enough cap space left to add a veteran for 1 to 1.5 mil easily. Maybe a Orlando Scandrick or Sam Shields would provide some insurance? The safety position would be a little thin but adding a draft pick, hanging onto Harris, and having Kearse come back is almost all you can ask. There is no kicker here yet besides the UDFA but I assume they will sign someone for 1 mil or so. Cant really spend too much time on the players that put their foot on the ball. I could have drafted a kicker but why would I have faith that they would be patient with the young player?Alternatehttps://fanspeak.com/ontheclock...mlydrgTRADESNEW ENGLAND PATRIOTSSENT: ROUND: 2 PICK: 26RECEIVED: ROUND: 2 PICK: 32 & ROUND: 4 PICK: 32MIAMI DOLPHINSSENT: ROUND: 3 PICK: 17 & ROUND: 7 PICK: 38RECEIVED: ROUND: 3 PICK: 1418: R1P18 QB DWAYNE HASKINS OHIO STATE50: R2P18 DL DEXTER LAWRENCE CLEMSON64: R2P32 G MICHAEL JORDAN OHIO STATE78: R3P14 EDGE CHARLES OMENIHU TEXAS120: R4P18 S DARNELL SAVAGE, JR. Much better. It gets a QB for after Cousins deal is over and Haskins could sit the bench for two years and learn. Perfect opportunity for the Vikings to make a move like this too. It might make Cousins trade-able. He has to agree but I will maintain that knowing he wont get another extension might motivate him to accept a trade.Well, there you go.A stupid off season plan that ensures I will never, ever, ever, work for and NFL team in my lifetime. But I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
